Neutral Anti-mold Silicone
Product Properties
Inhibit mold growth in a humid environment.
Resistant to moisture and corrosion.
Most detergents and solvents will not cause damage to anti-mold silicone.
Applicable materials and situations
Kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. Can adhere to porous and non porous materials, such as glass, ceramics, human made marble, granite, aluminum, steel, and most construction materials.
Water-based Acrylic
Product Properties
Silicone is not used.
Paintable after the application. You have more color options.
Non-toxic and no odor.
Applicable materials and situations
Commonly used in caulking in cabins, wall gaps, trims, various partitions, brick wall, and wooden partitions.
Notes
Its resistance to UV and joint movement is inferior to that of neutral silicone. If it exposed to sunlight, earthquake, vibration, cracks may occur.
It remains flexible after dried and can prevent cracks in joints. It is easily to apply it.
It is degradable when coming into contact with moisture. Pay attention to this.
Acid Silicone
Product Properties
Has better adhesion than that of neutral silicone.
Waterproofing.
Corrosive.
Has a odor during the application.
More cost effective than that of neutral silicone.
Applicable materials
Mainly suitable for glass, tiles, and acrylic bonding, sealing in glass, medium-to-small sized aquarium, ceramics, aluminum materials, glass fibers, painted surface, oil absorbent wood, and common construction materials.
Notes
Not suitable for zinc, cooper, brass, other raw construction materials, mirrors, and all construction materials that are vulnerable to acids.
