The silicone sealant is one kind of adhesive and usually used to form a watertight or airtight seal in a joint between two surfaces. In some occasions, the silicone sealant is also known as silicone. It is commonly referred as to “Silicone”

Under the normal situation, silicone has a look in a liquid and gel form when it is used for the first time. When it is dried under an appropriate temperature and humidity, it will be cured and become a piece of stronger rubber. After being cured, the silicone products is as durable and flexible as solid rubber.

Silicone is usually divided into two main categories: Neutral and Acid. The Acid silicone is ideal for non porous surfaces, such as glazed tiles and glass. However, when the acid silicone is directly applied on a surface that is not suitable, it will be corrosive to it. For wood or fragile plastics and metal, neutral silicone will be better.

Most silicone sealants are widely used. They are often used for several applications and suitable for bonding of several materials. It can be squeezed out anytime in any temperature. After being cured, it has good movement capability, which can withstand caused displacement by vibration. It can be used for sealing in general indoor decorations, waterproofing, and caulking of hardware. When compared to commercially available products, it has better permeability. International raw materials are imported and used for this permeable crystalline waterproofing agent. No water will penetrate through concrete or react with alkaline to enhance anti-permeability, sealability, corrosion resistance, and anti-efflorescence. It has a high waterproof rate, which looks like drops on lotus leaves. This is known as Lotus Effect so that stone materials remain their natural color, and withstand acid rain and saline damage, which prolong the lifespan of the building.

The water-based nano-level crystalline waterproofing agent can penetrate through concrete for several centimeters. It can provide long lasting protection for concrete surfaces and prevent water damage to walls. No appearance of concrete will not be changed and you can paint it to inhibit growth of microorganisms.
